The mark of ash and flame grace this raw clay teapot, which is also adorned with a flowing slip trailed pattern. I decided to leave the raw ash of the anagama on the one side of this teapot, giving it a feel of having been unearthed after centuries underground. The beautiful wave of a flame flashes on the other side in a bright orange.

This teapot holds roughly 2 cups, and is unglazed, which will allow your tea to develop the patina.
