The moving effects of ash and flame decorated the surface of this porcelain teapot alongside the flowing slip trailed pattern. One side of the teapot was dappled with wood ash during the firing of the train kiln, which slowly melted over the course of the firing to leave behind a golden crystal surface. The other side responded to the effects of the woodfiring by blushing to a beautiful shiny sunburst.

This teapot holds roughly 2 cups, and is glazed on the inside.
